Residential Electrician Services in Brooksville, FL
Repairs, Upgrades, and Installs for Homes|Licensed & Insured, EC13011268
Pick “something needs fixing” or “I need a quote” on the form, and the office routes it.
Every home service we offer is on this page. Repairs are for something that stopped working, and those visits are billed by the hour. Items an inspector or insurer flagged are quoted in writing, and upgrades and installs start with an estimate. We don't do upfront pricing, so nothing on this page has a standard price.
Call (352) 251-2795, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or send a request online.
Repairs
When Something Quits or Gets Flagged
Electrical Repair
One outlet, one circuit, one fixture: a single failure with a clear starting point. That's a repair visit.
Outlets, switches, and GFCIs:
Electrical Troubleshooting
For a fault that returns after every reset, comes and goes, or has already beaten someone else. We find it by testing circuits and asking when it happens.
Panel Repair
Heat, scorch marks, buzzing, or corrosion inside the panel. Some of it can be cleaned and repaired; a burnt or undersized panel can't.
Storm Damage Repair
For the days after a storm, when water reached outlets or equipment, a limb bent the riser, or part of the house is still dark. It also covers what to leave alone until we arrive.
The meter base and riser, and getting ready before the next storm:
4-Point Inspection Repairs
Your insurer's inspection listed electrical items that need to be corrected. We fix them and itemize each one on the invoice, with photos of the finished work.
Selling a home? Our pre-sale check:
Federal Pacific & Zinsco Panels
Replacing a Federal Pacific, Zinsco, or Bryant panel once a renewal letter or a 4-point report names it, and older panels that have reached the end of their service life.
Aluminum Wiring Repair
Aluminum branch wiring in houses built before the late 1970s: each connection repaired with AlumiConn connectors, or the circuit rewired.

Upgrades and installs
When You're Adding or Improving Something
Panel Upgrades & Replacement
When new loads outgrow the panel the house was built with, or the panel itself is old and worn.
Breakers and subpanels:
EV Chargers
Level 2 charging at home: a 14-50 outlet you can unplug from, or a hardwired unit that charges faster. Your panel's spare capacity decides what fits.
Surge Protection
What a surge device at the panel stops, what a lightning arrester does, and why they're different things.
Portable Generator Hookups
An inlet plus an interlock, or a manual transfer switch, lets your portable generator feed the circuits you select through the panel.
Indoor Lighting
Dining-room fixtures, bath vanity lights, track lighting, and new lighting for stairways and closets.
Recessed lights, under-cabinet lights, chandeliers, and smart controls:
Outdoor & Security Lighting
Patio, lanai, entry, and wall lights installed to handle Florida sun and rain, with stainless hardware.
Security, landscape, and holiday lighting:
Ceiling Fans
Fans hung on a box and brace rated to carry them, wet-rated fans for the lanai, and fans on high ceilings.
Bath and laundry fans:
Pools, Spas & Hot Tubs
Circuits for pool pumps, heaters, and lights, bonding around the pool, and power for ponds and fountains.
Hot tubs:
Boat Lifts & Docks
Wiring on the dock for boat and jet ski lifts, lights, and shore power, with stainless hardware and Schedule 80 conduit. We carry USL&H (Longshore) coverage for work on the water.
Barns, Wells & Rural Power
Getting power from the house or the meter across the yard to a barn or metal building, trench included.
Outbuildings, RVs, wells, and septic:
Wiring, Remodels & Additions
Added circuits and outlets, room additions, and conduit where a wire can't run inside the wall.
Rewiring, appliance circuits, data cabling, remodels, and custom builds:

Detectors, doorbells, and cameras
Safety and Entry Devices
Smoke & CO Detectors
Hardwired smoke, carbon monoxide, and combination alarms. We install BRK 10-year sealed units, so there's no battery to swap every six months.
Video doorbells, and power and cabling for home security cameras:
Not Sure Where to Start
Not Sure Where to Start?
If the problem keeps coming back after you reset something, start with electrical troubleshooting. For anything else, describe what you're seeing on the request form or on the phone, and our office will book the matching visit.
Need work at a business, school, or apartment complex? Those services are on our commercial page.

Outside Our scope
Where Our Home Services Stop
We connect portable generators, run circuits for mini-splits and other appliances, and wire power and cabling for doorbells and cameras. These go to other trades:
We don't install standby generators or the automatic transfer switches that go with them.
We don't install solar or do appliance repair.
We don't install smart thermostats, attic fans, or whole-house fans. An HVAC contractor handles those.
We don't do home theater or whole-house audio; we refer that work to an audio-video specialist.
We don't install or monitor alarm or security systems.
