Permanent Holiday Lighting in Brooksville, FL
Programmable Roofline Lighting|Installed Once, Used All Year|Licensed & Insured, EC13011268
Which sides of the house would you like lit?
- Any occasion, any evening: Holidays, birthdays, or a soft white glow on a weeknight.
- Licensed & Insured: Florida Certified Electrical Contractor EC13011268.
Each November, somebody climbs a ladder with a box of tangled strands and a bag of clips. Permanent holiday lighting ends that climb.
The lights mount along the roofline once and stay up. From an app or a controller, they're warm white on an ordinary evening, red and green in December, and team colors on game day. We install the lights and the power behind them.
Call (352) 251-2795, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or send a request online. Calls after hours are returned the next business day.
How Permanent Lighting works
Roofline Lights That Stay Up Between Holidays
Mounted along the eaves
Low-profile LED lights sit in a slim track or channel fastened along the fascia or tucked under the eave. Nothing is clipped to shingles, and nothing comes down in January.
Controlled from your phone
On many systems, each light can change color on its own, so one run can show a solid color, a pattern, or a slow chase. Scenes and schedules are set from an app or a controller: the lights come on at dusk, switch to the next holiday's colors, and go off at the hour you choose.
The electrical side
Most systems run on low voltage. Power supplies convert household 120-volt power for them, and they belong where they stay dry: in the garage, in the attic, or in a weatherproof enclosure. Each supply is fed from an outlet on a circuit with room for its load, with GFCI protection wherever it's outdoors. Getting that part right is an electrician's work, and it's what keeps the system from tripping an outlet shared with the garage freezer.
Trees and the rest of the yard
Seasonal lights on trees and shrubs need a safe place to plug in. We add outdoor outlets where the display goes, rated for use while a cord is plugged in and protected by a GFCI, with a timer if you want one. For trees lit all year, uplighting is part of a landscape system.
How an install goes
Planning the Roofline Installation
-
1
1. Pick the rooflines
The front only, the front and sides, or all the way around. Photos of each side help us plan.
-
2
2. Measure and find the power
At the estimate visit, we measure each run and work out where the power supplies go and which circuit will feed them.
-
3
3. Installation
Track and lights along the eaves, the power supplies, and a new outlet or circuit where the existing ones won't carry the load.
-
4
4. Lit and checked
Each run is lit and checked against the controller.

Estimates and repairs
Priced After We've Measured the House
We don't do upfront pricing. No job has a standard price with us: each one is tailored to the property and the work you've asked for, and priced once we've seen it.
We offer free estimates on installs, upgrades, and replacements in our service area. Estimates aren't free when the job needs troubleshooting or testing to price, falls after hours or outside our service area, needs several meetings to gather information, or is new construction or a custom remodel with multi-party walk-throughs. For most jobs, estimates arrive by email by the end of the next business day, and quotes are good for 30 days.
Custom homes and large or multi-phase projects are estimated as soon as we can, or on the timeline your project sets.
Repair and troubleshooting visits are billed by the hour from arrival: $100 residential, $150 commercial, one-hour minimum, then half-hour increments, plus materials. No trip charge and no service fee. No hidden fees: the 3.5% surcharge on card and ACH payments is listed in our terms.
Our warranty
04If something we installed fails because of our workmanship within 30 days of completion, we waive the hourly labor to put it right. Materials Kennedy Electric purchases for your job carry the manufacturer's one-year warranty. To replace defective materials we supplied, or materials damaged by storm, flood, fire, or other acts of God, we charge a reduced warranty labor rate of $50 an hour residential and $75 an hour commercial. The warranty does not cover materials not purchased by Kennedy Electric, work performed by the customer, or materials the customer purchased or damaged. Our warranty terms are printed on the estimate, the invoice, and the receipt, and the product boxes stay with you so you can register each product with its manufacturer.
