If water reached any of them, keep out of standing water near electrical equipment and don't touch a wet panel. We check a home's wiring before the power is turned back on, and we replace the outlets, switches, and breakers that were under water.

Which Power Company Serves a Land O' Lakes Address
Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative and Duke Energy both serve addresses labeled "Land O' Lakes". Your bill shows which one serves your house. The name matters on a job that needs the power cut at the meter: a panel replacement, a new meter base, or a service upgrade. Duke Energy allows our electrician to pull a meter. The cooperative sends its own crew. Whichever company it is, we coordinate the shut-off and reconnection with it. Leave the meter and its seal alone.

For most jobs, estimates arrive by email by the end of the next business day, and quotes are good for 30 days.
Custom homes and large or multi-phase projects are estimated as soon as we can, or on the timeline your project sets.
The permit office
